The FastComet Marketplace

The summer is in full swing, so we hope you’re reading this while relaxing on a sandy beach with a nice cocktail in hand, completely unworried about your business website, because you know we’ve got it covered. If not, we have something equally hot for you — the all-new FastComet Marketplace.

For the past few months, we’ve been working hard to create a unified shopping experience in a centralized marketplace, which is now live and fully accessible in your client area. Let’s dive into what’s new and what’s coming next.

The Marketplace

By clicking on the Marketplace icon from the left menu, you will be directed to a 360-degree view of everything new and hot that is going on at FastComet. You no longer need to wait for our monthly newsletter or blog post for the latest promotions or service updates – all the best deals and new products are now available on a single page. 

This will help us integrate a lot of new features to our platform in a much more cohesive way just like our new cloud product that is already available in the FastComet Marketplace – the Cloud Apps.

Cloud Apps

What is a Cloud App? In short, it’s a feature in a box, hosted on the cloud. Still sound strange? Let’s clarify. Cloud Apps are containerized applications that let you use specific software or service without the technical complexity and cost of a full-fledged hosting product like a virtual server or shared hosting account.

Need an example? Suppose you want to run a Magento 2 e-commerce store (now Adobe Commerce) but don’t want to overspend on a fully-featured VPS server just because it requires Elasticsearch. With us, you can now do it on your budget shared hosting by extending its functionality with an Elasticsearch Cloud App.

In this section of the Marketplace, we will streamline numerous additional apps to address specific use cases and needs of your business, such as accounting, invoicing, podcast management, marketing and more. This effectively turns FastComet Cloud into an affordable Platform as a Service, leveraging both open-source technology and reintroducing the monthly flat renewal pricing model.

Cloud Servers

In the Cloud Servers section you’ll find a dedicated area for our VPS and Dedicated CPU servers. The new design offers a much better comparison of plans and will allow us to introduce new types of hosting servers into our portfolio — GPU Servers, High Memory Servers, and Premium CPU Servers — later this year.

Addons & Services

The Addons & Services section unifies all extra services that can enhance your hosting experience. This section will further evolve with the introduction of third-party services and partner products. This will allow us to open the FastComet platform to third-party integrations, SaaS, marketing, and other solutions, meeting the growing digitalization demands of our customers.

Domains

Domains will be another primary focus of our future development. This section will evolve into a one-stop shop for all your domain needs, featuring a new domain search engine with an integrated AI suggestion tool, aggressive monthly promotions and discounts for popular domains, and a fully-featured Anycast (Premium) DNS service.
