Partnership Announcement: FastComet is now a Certified Cloudflare Hosting Partner
We are constantly working to implement the industry’s top hosting solutions and products so our customers can take advantage of the best tools available on the market. As a result of our efforts to give your website the ultimate performance and security, today we are happy to announce our partnership with Cloudflare, the web’s easiest performance, and security solution.
As a Cloudflare Certified Partner, our clients can now access their simple and free solution and protect and accelerate their websites. Once your website joins the Cloudflare community, it loads twice as fast as before while staying protected from a wide range of online threats.
What is Cloudflare?
Cloudflare is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) service provider that brings performance and security enhancement to all websites served via their network. On average, a website on Cloudflare loads twice as fast, uses 60% less bandwidth, has 65% fewer requests and significantly more secure.
Cloudflare can be activated with a single click and requires no modifications to your application, code or hosting server.
What is a CDN?
CDN stands for Content Delivery Network and usually involves multiple access points distributed in different geo-locations. These access points serve requests from visitors located in the same region. All websites introduced to the Content Delivery Network experience faster speed and less latency as every visitor is able to access the website via their local access point, eliminating network latency and slow connectivity to the website’s hosting server caused by their physical distance.
How is Cloudflare Different From Other CDN Providers?
Cloudflare is not just a CDN service provider eliminating network latency but a performance and security enhancement as well.
As your traffic passes through the Cloudflare access points, they intelligently determine what parts of your website are static versus dynamic. The static portions are cached for a short period of time, typically less than 2 hours, before being rechecked if they had been updated. By automatically moving the static parts of your site closer to your visitors, the overall performance of your site improves significantly. This process reduces resource usage, the number of requests, server load time and in general saves you money by reducing your web hosting costs.
Additionally, Cloudflare’s security protections offer a broad range of protections against attacks such as DDoS, hacking or spam submitted to a blog or comment form. What is powerful about Cloudflare approach is that the system gets smarter as more sites join the Cloudflare community. The network analyzes the traffic patterns of hundreds of millions of visitors in real time and adapts the security systems to ensure good traffic gets through and bad traffic gets banned.
How to Activate Cloudflare for Your Website?
Any website can take advantage of Cloudflare, regardless of its platform. At FastComet, we make the process of setting up Cloudflare “1 click easy” through your existing cPanel control panel. Just look for the Cloudflare icon, choose the domain you want to enable, and click the orange cloud. That’s it!
If you have a Virtual Private Cloud Server or a fully Dedicated Hosting Server for which you would like to have Cloudflare activated, please contact our technical support team via your client area so we can integrate your server with the Cloudflare network.

Do you offer or planning to offer cloudflare enterprise ?
We do not offer Cloudflare for Enterprise, and there are no plans to have this offering via our client area. Having said that, some of our customers are still using that Cloudflare service in conjunction with their hosting account from us, with the service itself being available directly via Cloudflare.
