It is a good idea to configure the mail service of your vTiger installation with SMTP. This will ensure the proper delivery of your emails and they will be sent out from a specific email account on your hosting package.
To create an email account, you first need to access your cPanel. Locate the Mail section and click on the Email Accounts icon.
Fill in the information for your new email account and then click on the Create Account button to keep the changes.
After you complete the steps above, your email account will be displayed, just below the creation form. Next to your email account, click on the More button and then Access Webmail, from where you will be able to access it.
Now that you have an active email account, it is time to configure your vTiger website with SMTP. Log into your website as administrator and click on the Settings icon at the top-right corner of the screen and then CRM Settings.
Click on the Other Settings option on the left-side menu and then Outgoing Server.
Click on the Edit button to edit the SMTP settings.
Edit the following options:
Click on the Save button to keep the changes. The system will automatically reconfigure your vTiger installation and enable the use of SMTP for the mail service of your website.
