Subrion Tutorial
Subrion is a Free Open Source Content Management System (CMS) developed by Intelliants. The application is very easy to extend and scale with an assortment of templates, plugin and whole packages to choose from. Most of the extensions are part of Intelliants' premium product portfolio and are extremely valuable when it comes to building a website for a specific industry like car dealing or real estate.
Subrion is so intuitive that sometimes you even wonder why you took the long path to something when it was 2 clicks away starting from the main admin page. The integrated Database tool is also useful for users that don't have access to phpMyAdmin - which we provide for all of our users via cPanel. The Visual Manage Mode is another big plus for Subrion as it allows on the fly editing and management of blocks and positions.
Requirements
- Apache 2.0.x or above (mod_rewrite), Microsoft IIS (ISAPIRewrite 3), nginx
- MySQL 5.0.x or above
- PHP 5.3.x or above (GD, XML, zlib, php-pecl-zip libraries)
PHP Configuration
- PHP memory of 64MB
- The PHP extension for connecting to your MySQL database needs to be enabled
- PHP XML extension
- PHP Freetype needs to be enabled
- GD library is needed for image manipulation (resizing user pictures, images and captcha)
- PHP PECL Zip needs to be installed and enabled
Requirements
