How to configure the Email templates

Access the Email Templates page

The email templates are conveniently stored in the back-end of your store and those are strongly dependent on the translation you are using. For this reason you will need to of course edit the currently used translation. Thus please login into the Back Office of your Store and then navigate to Locallization → Translations.

Once there you will notice that the first section called "Modify Translations" is the one you will need. There you should select from the Type of translation drop-down list the last option called Email Template Translation.

Once this is done you will need to select the language for that translation. This can be achieved via the "Select your language" drop-down list where you should simply click on the language you would like to edit the translation for.

Finally you will need to click on the Modify button so you can be presented with the available email templates for the translation you have selected.

Edit E-mail Templates

Now that you are able to see all the email templates it is time for you to find the correct one and to edit it. Right after you begin with the email template modification for the concrete translation you will notice two section of email templates.

Core Emails

As the name suggest these are the core emails your shop is using by default. Here you will be able to find the email templates for the following components of your Online Store:

• Accounts
• Orders
• Contact forms
• Passwords

and many more. All of those are conveniently structure in small blocks vertically and you will be able to edit them by clicking on each block individually.

Module Emails

These email templates are used by the module you have installed on your Online Store and here by default you will be able to find the email templates for the following components:

• Newsletter
• Referral program
• Followup emails

The editing of these templates is also quite an easy task as you will need to simply click on the template you would like to edit and using the integrated editing tools you will be able to make the best email templates ever.

Congratulations! You can now edit all of the templates used by your PrestaShop 1.6 based Online Store!
